Hello!

Soft Coated Wheaten Terriers are becoming more and more popular every year, in part because of their loving & excitable nature!
We are the Turner family and we have had “Wheaties” for over 15 years. Our first two, Sharkie and Remora, were purchased as puppies from Coventry Farms in Savannah, GA. We spent a long time looking at different breeds and determining what would work best for our family. When we picked the Wheaten Terrier we honestly were not expecting to fall in love with the breed as much as we did. They are great family pets that are very energetic, playful, spirited, and best of all, they don’t shed.

We were heartbroken when we lost our first two and knew we needed more company to join our family pack. The kids were away at college and our home was too quiet! So we again contacted our breeder in Savannah and this time adopted a full-grown dog. Grady joined our family in 2011.

This past winter we knew it was time for Grady to have a companion, so we took Gracie from Coventry Farms. We knew when we got her that the breeder wished to breed her again. The problem was we fell so in love with her and she adapted so well to us that we couldn’t bare the thought of being without her for a few months while she whelped a litter. Plus, how much fun are puppies! Gracie has just over a week till we expect to welcome her sweet little puppies to the world!

We plan to use this blog to keep friends and family updated (with lots of pictures!) of Gracie and her puppies. If you or anyone you know may be interested in buying a pup, let us know! (Glenn and Alice are handling that part).

One day we may use this blog to share about some of our other passions, such as camping and gardening! Which are also Grady and Gracie’s favorite pastimes.

Check back with us again soon!
